Football shoes by Jenna Heli

The first football shoes in the history

The first football shoes were made for the King of England 1536. They were high in the ankle and were made of stiff leather that was much heavier than the leather that was used to make normal shoes. The sole and the studs were usually made of metal. Football shoes were only made in one color, that usually was black, but in some cases also brown. A shoe weighed 500 g.

The ergonomic silhouette of the shoe gives maximal comfortness and an optimal locking. The sock-like upper is made of Primenkit-material to make the shoe sit well. The shoe has a hybrid stud system with the studs in a specific order (four under the heel and seven under the palm). It improves the grip and enables quick turns. The upper of the shoe has a demoskin (rubber scales on the instep that looks a bit like dragon scales) which ensures the 360 degree control and excellent comfortness. A shoe weighs 232 g.

A Future Football Shoe

Maybe they blink when you score? Do they show you if you get a yellow card? Are they feather light? Do they have any studs at all?

They could change the studs accordingly to the platform. The whole sock could be attached to the shoe so one wouldn’t need separate socks at all. The shoe would measure steps and kilometers during the game and report them on a mobile phone application.
