Capture of the Golden Fleece

The Capture of the Golden Fleece by Jean-François de Troy is the third installment in a series or seven paintings telling the story of Jason, an ancient Greek mythological hero. The exact year when the painting was made is now known, but it was completed in either 1742 or 1743.
In Greek mythology, Jason was the leader of the Argonauts, the goal of whom was to capture the Golden Fleece, a symbol of authority and kingship. The ram bearing the Golden Fleece is depicted in this painting, hanging from a tree while Jason is reaching out to grab the ram.
Having moderate interest towards Greek mythology, this painting caught my eye even before seeing its name, hence why I chose it.
