Paolo Uccello's St. George And The Dragon

St. George And The Dragon was painted by Paolo Uccello in c. 1470. The painting tells the end of the well-known story with the same name. (The story is linked below.) This painting is in the National Gallery in London (obviously). There is also a less "intense" painting by Uccello with the same subject, which is in the Musée Jacquemart-André in Paris. In the scene, the princess is dragging the dragon towards the town with her belt around its neck and St. George is spearing it.

Reasons for choosing this painting:
When choosing this painting, it seemed the most interesting out of the options that were available at that time. It has a dragon in it, which is mythical, interesting and eye-catching. The way and style of painting in this painting are also quite nice, smooth and pleasant.
