14.5. Mother's day

So, it was my first day in Finland after the trip. Me and my friend ate brownies with his mother and siblings in honor of Mother's day. The brownies were made by his mother and they were delicious.

Today me and my soulmate went to a local park and had a picnic. We had fun and talked for few hours with no pauses. We ate pizza, apples and mudcake.

The weather was so nice, even though it was quite windy. But to be honest, it's always windy here, so you get used to it. Gosh, I love her so much.

Challenge day, week five

Your girl is suffering. S u f f e r i n g. My mom brought white bread fresh out of the oven to the table while I was minding my own business, eating orange, drinking coffee and reading a newspaper. As you can probably guess, I was really really really tempted to take a slice but I still haven't broken my promise.

Challenge week, day six

I don't even miss white bread so much, now that I have been without it for almost a week. But in the other hand, I for sure am excited to eat it again.

Challenge week, day three

Y'allllllllllll I managed to survive without white bread for another day. It didn't feel hard at all today.

Challenge week, day two

Today was pretty hard since we ran out of ryebread in the morning so instead of my beloved bread I had to eat yoghurt.

Cooking workshop

today was the best day ever! we had a cooking workshop hosted by two notorious cooks. i am really thankful for the opportunity to learn from them. the food we made was delicious and filling. the day altogheter was amazing. i will miss this day so so so much.

School lunch

Today we ate potatoes, fish and salad at school.

The challenge week, day one

I decided to give up eating white bread for a week.
Today it seemed easy since I didn't eat any proper breakfast (unless few grapes and three cups of coffee count lol) and we don't have white bread at school lunch.
So for now I have managed to survive without my main source of energy. Those who know me, know that I am fricking addicted to white bread and consume it in mad amounts. I know it isn't the healthiest stuff on earth and it is beyond ridiculous to eat it as much as I do. You can't even imagine!
How ever, I thought it would be good for my body to stay away from white bread for a while. I'm quite nervous because I'm one of those people who find comfort in food and in that way it's kind of hard to give up white bread. But, I'm going to do my best. Wish me luck, I'll keep you updated!

Update on my life :)))

So me and my friends will leave to Germany in few days. I am super excited about it. I'm also very nervous. I head that I am going to Melissa's confirmation party. Sooooo cool.
Also few words about the challenge week. I feel like it really affected me in a good way. I found cool alternatives for white bread and really made my eating habits more versatile. I am thankful for digging into this challenge. I think I will try to do it again, on my own.

today we filled in the beginning questionare. :)

31.3.

it's the last day of march. tomorrow is april's fools day and i am not mentally prepared for all those crappy jokes and pranks about being pregnant, dead or something else completely, disgustingly lame. call me old but honestly april's fools is one of the idlest days of the year.

anyway, today my parents made spaghetti and tomato sauce. made my day.

my mom made today's lunch of leftovers: brown sauce, meat, ham, carrots and rise. it looks kinda, um, interesting, but believe me: it was really good.
