Spring
The weather
Let's sing! We learnt the song Mr Sun, and as we sang we 'drew' the story on our friend's back. The back 'massage' felt lovely and everyone drew for their friend.


Vehicles
In February we moved on to vehicles. Playing with cars and other vehicles is one of the favourite play areas for many kids and so it's fun been to learn what they are in English too. We've learnt to play the card game 'Snap', which is a fast and fun activity where the words are repeated again and again, and as such, we've learnt them really well. How good are you at 'Find the difference?' You can look at the picture below and see if you can find all of the 8 words in the busy town.

Winter activities
When the children were busy ice skating, sledging and the playing in the snow, we also learnt what our favourite winter activities are in English. We enjoyed pantomine, played a memory game, and bingo with the winter activity words.

Clothes
Enkkuhetket started with clothes, we had to 'blindly' dress our friend Bob by feeling which clothes item we thought we had in our hand and guessing which was the right place to put it on the picture.
We looked at 'find which one doesn't belong' pictures, and thought about which picture didn't belong to the group and why. We're also learning the song Put on your bootsThis week we've continued our winter clothes theme, and read the book 'The Smartest Giant in Town' by Axel Scheffler and Julia Donaldson. It has been a pleasure to see how well the children have been able to follow the story in English and understand many words.
