From previous lectures we have learned that the two elements of Finnish education are equality and equity. We have also learned that they are strongly related to the good results of Finnish students in the PISA studies. In the lecture we will learn the principles of equity: equal access to education, equal opportunities to learn, and equal learning outcomes.
