Sustainable development internationally

 

Petäjävesi secondary school got Erasmus+ -visitors from Germany, Poland and Greece. During the week students worked together dealing with sustainable development, climate change and energy. In addition, they got new experience while visiting in Äänekoski bioproduct mill, in Serlachius museum in Mänttä and in Petäjävesi old church.

The young people get to know Finnish culture and they were greatly impressed by the beautiful nature, the tranquility of surroundings and brightness.

With the projects the students’ world view expands and they get to know new cultures and habits. With new experience, daring and language skills the youth get skills they can use while studying or working abroad.
