Lecture 2 Teacher motivation

Lecture 2 Teacher motivation

What motivates teachers? This is a key question regardless what country you are working on! In this lecture you are challenged to think about this question, but not only from the teachers’ perspective, but also from the administrators’ point of view. The lecturer even gives you a possibility to vote for an imaginary party with its solution for teacher motivation. You have a possibility to form your opinion about what motivates teachers.

Then, in the lecture we go back to the previous lecture about the Bloom’s taxonomy’s last phase, creativity and intellectual capital. At the end of the lecture, you will hear an interesting case, when the lecturer many years ago was appointed as a principal to a rather poor performing school, you will hear what he did there.
