Teacher professional development (PD) is one of the most important topics in any country, which intends to foster education and student learning outcomes. Usually, PD is understood to be training and development for teachers on the job. Therefore, in this session, we do not discuss teacher initial training, but we concentrate on teacher development at school. The lectures by professor Alava in this session explain in details the research findings of several international scholars. Also a synthesis of the models presented by researcher is discussed.
