Upon successful completion this course, the learners are expected to be able to

• study and analyze the results of international assessments of students outcomes;
• analyze the data collected by different student assessments;
• evaluate the Finnish education system and its effects on the PISA results;
• understand the importance of individual context, national history and culture, and state of educational policy in their own country as primary factors when attempting to enhance educational outcomes;
• integrate the lessons learned in different countries into the development of education in their own countries in school, district and national levels.
