Sälinkää school is situated about ten kilometres north-west from the centre of Mäntsälä. The children come mainly from the villages of Sälinkää, Kaanaa, Lukko and Sulkava.

Sälinkää school has classes from first to sixth grade. The number of the pupils is close to 120. Seven teachers, a special education teacher and three teacher`s aid work to instruct them. Mrs Minna Seppälä works as the school principal.
