In Lecture 12, Yasmine introduces the Caribbeanized educational management system from the perspective of Jamaica. She first emphasizes the joint effort of Caribbean countries to improve the quality of school teachers and administrators. As a colony, Jamaica used to follow the British school model. Now there is a trend to build up a Caribbeanized system. So far there are national, regional and international programmes in Jamaica which provide principal training and leadership practicum.
