Lecture 3 National culture differences

Lecture 3 National culture differences

Lecture three begins with a detailed description of the Hofstede framework and its dimensions. First dimension in the framework is social inequality, relations to authorities – power distance, which means how we relate to authorities. In his lecture, professor gives us important examples of the power distance he has
experienced with for example some heads of states.

Next, we learn about the second dimension in the framework called the relation between the individual and the collective. Later in the lecture we also hear about the indicators of this dimension.
