The HEAD project was a four-year international comparative study of the quality of school leadership programs in five countries: Norway, Finland, France, England, and the United States. The objective of the research program was to obtain new knowledge about school manager training of quality internationally and then apply the results for quality improvement.

In this session professor Tjeldvoll discusses what quality is. He will talk about quality learning outcomes, quality teaching, quality leadership, and the quality of school leadership training programs. At the end of this session, you have the possibility to make your own definitions of quality in education at large scale.
