SHORT DESCRIPTION OF THE COURSE:

On course 6 we are focusing on three main themes: future, studying and working. In grammar and structures we shall deal with some important structures such as ADJECTIVES, and ADVERBS, REPORTED SPEECH, and PREPOSITIONS.

We shall meet 11 (eleven) times Mondays and Wednesdays at 17.00 – 18.20 hours in class room 31 or online on Google Meet at the following link: meet.google.com/her-rxva-umj as follows:

DIGITAL EXAM at 17.00 – 21.00 hours on Thursday, May 22nd, 2025:

The exam consists of the following parts:

1. a) LC / listening comprehension
2. b) RC / reading comprehension
3. c) MC / multiple choice
4. d) Grammar: 1) adjectives, 2) adverbs, 3) reported speech, 4) verbs without prepositions, 5) verbs with prepositions, 6) nouns with prepositions, 7) adjectives with prepositions
5. e) Translations and vocabulary on the texts that we have dealt with during the course
6. f) Composition of 700 – 1,300 charactars

 

THE GRADE ON COURSE 6 CONSISTS OF THE FOLLOWING:

1. Written digital exam with the listening parts at 17.00 – 21.00 hours on Thursday, May 22nd, 2025
2. Home Assignments (+)
3. Activity during the lessons (+)

You will have your exams back on e-mail, but I shall be available for questions in person in Class Room 31 or digitally at 16.00 – 17.30 on Wednesday, May 28th, 2025.

 

RETAKE EXAM:

at 17.00 – 20.05 hours on Friday, on September 5th, 2025 = UUSINTAKOE, johon on ehdottomasti ILMOITTAUDUTTAVA ETUKÄTEEN kansliasta saatavalla vaaleansinisellä lomakkeella viimeistään VIIKKOA ENNEN KOETTA eli perjantaina 29.8.2025.
