Cuteness overload? Have a look at some photographs, which were provided by Mark Taylor at Warren Photographic, featuring adorable animals such as kittens, rabbits, puppies, dogs(,) and even deer that have matching fur. In an interview(,) Mark Taylor told reporters that it had been his mother who had come up with the idea. Since then(,) Taylor and his mother have photographed countless animal companions that have similar fur. Most of the photos, which are really lovely, can be seen online on his webpage. After being asked how he gets them to stay still, which any pet owner knows is the most difficult bit, Mark said, “We have a talented animal handler who’s good at getting animals to sit still. We just have to take the pictures, which is much easier."

The explorers who first discovered Yosemite National Park promoted a park bill in Washington in late 1871 and early 1872. The Yosemite Act of 1864 was a good starting point. It had banned settlement in Yosemite Valley and entrusted it to the care of California officials. Elsewhere in the US, the wonders of Yellowstone, which were shown through Jackson’s photographs, Moran’s paintings and Elliot’s sketches, had sparked interest in Congress. Therefore, it didn't come as a surprise that the United States Congress founded Yellowstone National Park in 1872. On a spring Friday, March 1, 1872, President Ulysses S. Grant signed the Yellowstone National Park Protection Act into law. The national parks became an American invention and Yellowstone the world’s first national park.
