SHORT DESCRIPTION OF THE COURSE:

The theme of the course is TECHNOLOGY and SCIENCE. In grammar and structures we shall deal with important structures such as infinitives, ING-forms and THAT-clauses. We shall also take a close look at words of quantity, NUMBERS / NUMERALS and expressions of time.

We shall meet 11 (eleven) times on Monday through Thursday at 18.40 – 20.00 either in classroom 31 or simultaneously online on Google Meet as follows:

DIGITAL EXAM online at 17.00 – 21.00 hours on Friday, December 13^th, 2024:

The exam consists of the following parts:

1) listening comprehension test

2) written part: a) RC / reading comprehension b) MC / multiple choice c) Grammar: 1) infinitives, ING-forms and THAT-clauses, 2) words of quantity, 3) numbers / numerals 4) expressions of time

d) Translations and vocabulary on the texts that we have dealt with during the course

e) Composition of 700 – 1,300 characters

THE GRADE ON COURSE 5 CONSISTS OF THE FOLLOWING:

1) LC exam & written exam at 17.00 – 21.00 hours on December 13^th, 2024

2) Home Assignment (+)

3) Activity during the lessons (+)

You will have your exams back on your e-mail, but I shall be available for questions in class room 31, at 16.00 – 17.30 hours on Friday, January 10^th, 2025.

RETAKE EXAM: at 17.00 – 20.05 hours on Friday, January 24^th, 2025
