Lecture 2 Individual creativity

Lecture 2 Individual creativity

Lecture 2 focuses on the individual creativity. We know, that there are practically no studies concerning school innovativeness and creativity. Therefore, based on the research findings presented in lecture one, professor Alava suggests more research to be done on the topic. He also argues, that when studying the relationship between school innovativeness and its influence on school outcomes, we should take the school internal spirit of entrepreneurship into account. This also requires the school leaders to have the visionary thinking and look into the future.

We also know, that schools are facing many challenges now. In order to build a holistic perspective on creativity, we need, according to research, 5 elements to play together. In this lecture, students will discuss the first category: the individual creativity. Please pay special attention to the linkage between the individual cognitive styles and creativity. Think about how to enhance the perception power in your school.
