Lecture 2 Trust capital
Lecture 2 Trust capital
In the many lectures of this course we have learned the importance of values in organizational life. In the next lecture, one special value is discussed in more detail. That is trust. Choosing trust to be anayzed in more detail is based on the research findings that emphasize trust being one of the core elements in an organization that affects people deeply. We will see that trust is important; and the lack of trust is equally important to understand. During the lecture we will also study the notion of betrayal, which is the opposite to trust. Then, we will discuss the elements of transactional trust in more detail, and will end up with some guidelines for ethical decision making.
