Lecture 1 Some key figures in leadership research – Ideas for today?
In this lecture professor Lämsä introduces some common definitions on leadership while you learn that there is no one unified definition, but several different definitions. Then, she talks about some of the key figures in the history of leadership development: Elton Mayo, Peter Drucker, Henry Minzberg, Edgar Schein. You may have gotten across these names in some other courses earlier, too, because these writers are some of the nominal writers on leadership.
