WHAT WAS GOOD IN THIS WEEK:

• organization of workshops, all relevant to project
• experiences were original and interesting
• visiting Kajaani University and seeing virtual reality
• I think this whole experience really helped me learn a bit more about vocational guidance in general
• the CV-exercise
• visiting the different companies was really interesting
• the business with laser tag was a completely new experience

 

WHAT WAS BEST IN THIS WEEK:

• the virtual reality in Kajaani, where we learnt a lot about technology and games (most students mention this)
• laser tag game was great fun (all students mention this)
• CV-video workshop
• meeting people from different countries
• snow and ice-skating

 

WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN DONE BETTER:

• Finnish weather
• schedule very busy with not enough free time (many students would have wanted to have more time for unorganized get-togethers)
• the game with mobile phones around the city did not function completely (museum had closed although we had asked them to be open)
• days were long, the timetable was too full of project work (students)
• nationalities should have been mixed more in all the tasks
