Well-being Agents

The eTwinning project Well-being Agents focuses on promoting students’ well-being in a holistic way, including physical, mental, social, and emotional aspects. The project brings together students and teachers from different European countries to collaborate, share ideas, and learn from each other through meaningful and interactive activities.

The project aims to empower students to become active promoters of well-being in their schools and communities, encouraging them to create a more positive, inclusive, and balanced environment for everyone. Throughout the project, students take an active role in planning and implementing activities that support healthy lifestyles, positive relationships, and sustainable ways of living. They participate in workshops, discussions, and collaborative tasks, both online and during mobility periods, using digital tools to communicate and share their work.

The project also emphasizes intercultural learning and active citizenship. By working in international teams, students develop their communication, cooperation, and critical thinking skills while gaining a deeper understanding of different cultures and perspectives.

From the perspective of the Finnish National Core Curriculum for General Upper Secondary Education (LOPS 2019), the project supports several transversal competencies.

Students strengthen their well-being competence (Taking care of oneself and managing daily life) by learning to recognize and promote their own well-being through everyday choices. Transversal competence in interaction and cultural understanding will be developed through international collaboration and communication with peers from different countries. The use of digital tools enhance students’ ICT competence. In addition, active participation, responsibility, and project-based work foster working life and entrepreneurship competence as well as participation, involvement and building a sustainable future.
