One more green activity that our 5th graders took part in, was that of the making of bird feeders using  empty cartons of milk or juice. The kids turned them into little works of art,  painting them with their favourite colours and decorating them with feathers, wooden sticks, sparkling ... eyes and a lot more!
When they filled their feeders with seeds of wheat , they hung them on the trees of our school.
In winter little birds can't find food very easily so the children came up with this idea in order to help them find food. Their next care will be a bee spot in the schoolyard.
