Handicrafts from recyclable materials~ our Eco-bags
Reusable bags made of cotton
In our school we ask our pupils to leave their schoolbags at school on the last Friday of every month.
In this way we want to send the message for less homework and less heavy schoolbags.
It is a measure taken by most schools in Greece this year.
The solution of using an ecological bag for just a couple of books instead, seemed as the perfect solution.
The children painted their own cotton bag with ecological colours and eco-friendly messages, turning them into real works of art.
The bags can be used either by the children themselves or given as gifts to their families and friends for ...eco-shopping.

Easter handicrafts
This Easter, the pupils with the help of their teachers decided to make their Easter decorations with reusable material like glass jars, plastic bottles, cardboard paper from previous crafts, wooden ladybirds, cord, old textiles, colourful ribbons brought from home etc. The Easter baskets for instance were made from plastic cartons covered with recyclable cardboard paper.
All the handicrafts can be reused in different ways e.g. the glass jars can be used for pencil cases, vases, flower or candle pots or whatever you can think of!
