• Riddles about animals
  
  "It lives in the Mediterranean Sea.
  It nests in Greece.
  Its  favourite food is jellyfish.
  It is in danger of extinction.
  What is it?"
  
  -Is it the sea turtle Caretta-Caretta?
  - Yes,it is!

 " I live in the woods.
I am very big and furry.
I have a big nose, a little tail and four legs.
I like to eat fish and berries
I love honey as much as you do!
What am I? "

Think about it! The pupils of the 4th grade , have made various animal-centered projects to make their schoolmates aware of the dangers these animals face. Inspired by the theme of ecology they wrote  riddles about animals in danger of extinction like the red deer,the brown bear,the jackal and the wolf which live in the Greek mountains as well as about the sea turtle caretta -caretta and the monk seal monachus -monachus which live in Mediterranean Sea and nest on the Greek islands, too!
They even turned them .... into robots and bookmarks to ...keep them safe!
They made beautiful paintings with the theme of nature to decorate their classrooms and they learned how to take care of their pets.
