GREEN ACTIVITY CONTEST

Final Green Contest Results

Dear friends
Every green activity from each school deserves our admiration and Congratulations!
Every activity separately and all of them together can make a big difference in our schools.

Among the activities of the rest, three schools it's worth mentioning those which were also voted by our pupils and held a distinguished place in the competition. They are the "Recycling-Keeping the school clean-Eco-bags "  activities  by the Greek school, the "Saving energy Posters -Setting up a reycling center" activities  by the Irish school and the "Organic meals and  No food waste" activities  by the Swedish school.

 Excellent work, kids! Well done!
Thank you for the beautiful ideas you shared with us!

I think that we all have the same dilemma now: "Which activity shall we adopt?"
That's a new challenge, isn't it?

..the Greek Results

Dear friends, pupils and teachers

The Greek pupils and teachers  enjoyed watching every single, green activity from every partner school.
All the activities were so nice and so eco-friendly that the contest for the 3 green, winning activities was really...tough! We think that all the schools deserve the 1st place in this competition. It is very encouraging to see that our children have developed  an environmentally-friendly attitude, adopting more and more  green activities day by day!The Greek pupils are looking forward to adopting every school's activity:
the Spanish ecological breakfast, the Swedish way of not wasting food, the Irish way of putting up saving energy signs in every classroom, even in the teachers' room  "Get your footprint out of my forest!",
the Dutch  ..windy bicycles or the Finnish fresh air walking! Congratulations to all of you, kids!
However, all of us have to choose 3 winning, green activities!

Let's watch together what a group of 6th graders have to say to us!

Now we would like to share with you the best six activities according to the children's choice and ...points,since, many activities came very close. What a competition!
So after the first 3 Finnish activities (getting  178 points, 174 and 169 points  for each activity), the "Setting up a recycling centre activity" from the Irish school comes 4th, getting 165 points.
The ... windy riding bikes activity from Oanset comes 5th, getting  158 points  while the Spanish saving water tank with the Swedish way of not wasting food share the 6th place! ( 144 points)  Yes! You must believe it!
The rest of the activities from all the schools follow with very good points as well. About 95 pupils from 5 groups, starting from the 4th to the 6th grade,  participated in the voting procedure .

"That was an amazing, amazing activity to share with all of you! We should do more activities like this one!" Valia, George, Nicky, Sissy, Stavros, Eva, Aggeliki, Irene, Eirini , the pupils of the video.
