Today we went to the upper parking lot near the ice rink. A lot of teens spend time there and we went there to see if it needed a bigger trash bin. Turns out it does. There was a big box taking up all the space in the small trash bin and the smaller trash was all over the place, but mainly on the sides and hidden inside the bushes. We put on rubber gloves and cleaned up the place, getting our trash bag nearly full in the progress. The teacher gave us candy to reward us. Some of us chose to stay behind and continue cleaning while the rest returned to the classroom to attend their chosen assignments.
