After Sacred Hill we headed to Lakeaharju Ridge which is a skiing resort in winter. Despite its name it isn't actually a ridge, but the edge of the crater rising 100 m above the lake surface. We grilled sausages on open fire, a new but tasty experience for Italians, and climbed the 16-meter-high wooden observation tower to admire the breathtaking views overlooking Lake Lappajärvi.
