In session three we discuss about some important theories and approaches in order to understand leadership behaviour. We begin with three different approaches or attempts, which describe well how in the history the context and societal events produce new ideas for leadership. Later, we introduce trait theories, contingency approaches, and situational approaches. At the end we concentrate on Situational Leadership model and its applications on developing teams. Overall, there will be some important theories and their applications into practise.
