Session 4 consists of 5 lectures. You will start with a case study in the U.S.A. Then Professor Alava analyzes the leadership change from the one leader syndrome to the community of leaders. This session, too, includes a lot of discussions by the students offering an opportunity to broaden one’s understanding. Here the students reflect on the possibilities of building shared leadership in their own contexts. In the last lecture of this session, Professor Alava provides a model of team development which enables one to build up a solid foundation for shared leadership in the school.
