Lecture 2 discusses the existing gender gap between men and women in leadership and management. We hear about the reasons for the gender gap between the different countries represented in the classroom.

Assignment before the lecture:

1. Study the latest World Economic Forum Report on gender gap.

• What are the main principles of measuring the gender gap in the report?
• What category (pillar) is the most important in the report to understand the gap between men and women in leadership and management?
• How large is the gap between men and women in your own country in general and in management and leadership? Can you explain the reasons for your country's ranking in the gender gap index?
• You may write some of your observation to your personal reflective report

Assignment after the lecture:

1. Write your learning experiences into your personal Reflective report. The reflective report for session 3 will be submitted in one file after lecture 4.
