Development from a boy into a man
Boys begin puberty later than girls. The testicles begin growing at the age of approximately 12 years. At the same time, the boy's body becomes more muscular, more body hair begins to grow and the boy's voice grows lower.
The boy's testicles begin producing sperm. Sperm cells are male sex cells. They are released during a process known as ejaculation.
