Session 1 focuses on strategic leadership. The lecturer PhD Tapio Lahtero works in Finland in the city of Vantaa as the Director of Education. Pedagogical leadership in the city is one of his main tasks. In this course he talks both form the viewpoint of a researcher and academic as well as a strategic leadership practitioner in education. Although the viewpoint is in public administration the ideas are applicable also in other fields.
