In today’s global world refugees are not the only ones having to deal with ‘transnational’ relationships. Transnational relationships are extending across geographical distances and national boundaries. Everyone travelling away from home will have to deal with long distances in one’s relationships and transnational relationships. How do you think that this should be taken into consideration in multinational workplaces where at least some employees are immigrants and/or in schools where some students have an immigrant background?
