The job interviews and the last two lessons on Mon & Tue! You have to come to class. I will make sure you have more than enough to do while I'm interviewing the lot of you one at a time.

1. Tandem writing in groups of 4
- Each of you will start writing a story that starts with the sentence: It was an ordinary Monday morning. I was a bit moody as I had just found out I didn’t get the summer job I had applied for. I was on my way to school when I suddenly stumbled upon a lottery ticket lying on the ground...
Spend 4-5 minutes writing your piece (set the timer on your mobile!)
- Hand your paper over to the one sitting on your left and take the paper from the one sitting on your right
- Continue the stories your group members have started
- Once you have completed the round (everybody gets their own paper back), read the stories out loud in the group
- Choose the best one, give it to the teacher who will then read it for the whole class 

2. About writing a summary (topic 10)
- Remember the How to write section on sanomapro online

3. Read through text 10 in pairs, do exercises 10B, 10C, 10D AND 10E (summary of the text)

Remember: In class, we focus on oral, theme-related activities that you can all do no matter where you are in the book! You are responsible for doing and checking most of the ordinary exercises yourself! We have proceeded at a pace of approx. one theme per week.

Homework: finish doing the exercises you started in class, revise the words you had planned to study for tomorrow (vocabulary test on topic 7 or 10)

- work in pairs
- do the grammar exercises correctly -> get the keys -> escape the grammar room -> claim the prize after the last (secret) task
- if you get "stuck" and can't proceed in the game, see if you English book or your friend can help you
2. Do the rest of the exercises you didn't have time to complete yesterday! (See the instructions below!)
3. Do the vocabulary test(s) after the teacher comes back from the interviews!

- Go through the application forms and motivational letters in groups of four (read them out loud)

Here's what I sent you on Wilma regarding Friday and next week:

"Moi kaikki,

Huomenna pe aamulla olisi tarkoitus istua alas teidän projektienne pariin. Haluan käydä jokaisen ryhmän kanssa keskustelua Instagram-postauksien suunnitelmasta jne. Jos ette ole vielä palauttaneet suunnitelmaanne peda.netin palautuskansioon, tehkää se HETI: Instagram -projektin info ja suunnitelman palautuskansio! Eli kaikki tulevat aamulla luokkaan, menevät niihin ryhmiin, joissa projektia tekevät, niin päästään sujuvasti alkuun. Huomenna teette toisen key tekstin sanakokeen (jos menee huonosti, ei tarvitse palauttaa). Käsittelimme tuon tekstin aihetta "procrastination" yhdessä tiistaina.

Ensi viikolla tunteja maanantaina ja perjantaina, koska vappupäivä syö yhden tunnin. Viikon yhteiset opiskelut on siis tehtävä entistä tehokkaammin. Maanantaina käydään yhdessä seuraavaa key tekstiä (Key text 5 The great escape: studying abroad) ja katsotaan seuraavaa kielioppiteemaa (indefiniittipronominit). Huolehdi, että olet opiskelussasi siinä vaiheessa, että voimme siirtyä uusiin aiheisiin hyvillä mielin! :) Voit myös katsoa indefiniittipronomineihin liittyvän opetusvideon ennen maanantaita, niin olet jo hieman kärryillä, mistä kyse: Indefiniittipronominit Youtubessa

Ensi viikon tunneilla ei siis yhteistä aikaa Instagram-projekteille, eli teillä täytyy olla tarkka suunnitelma siitä, kuka tekee mitäkin! Ja kaikilla pitäisi vihdoin olla oppikirja hankittuna!
