Hello!

My name is Adriana Megido, a Spanish girl who decided to do an Erasmus in one of the coldest countries. I am an exchange student studying Primary education at the University of Eastern Finland. I decided to study here because Finland has the best education system in Europe. Professors in Spain have always talked about Finnish education outstandingly, so I wanted to experience it for myself. This is how I ended up in Mutalan Koulu. My teaching practice, here in Mutalan Koulu, lasted more than one month and was one of the greatest enriching experiences ever.

The student's motivation and the teachers' attention to students make this school unique. Mutalan Koulu has taught me how the Finnish system works, the importance of independence in students, how organised a teacher needs to be, and how to sew 😂. But, the most important thing that this internship has taught me is the importance of relations between students and teachers. They are one big family and I will definitely project that into my future teaching.
