Tänään ryhdymme käymään läpi lauseenjäseniä
Eli tehtävänämme on tänään selvittää mitä ovat:

• subjekti
• predikaatti
• objekti.

Jos sinulla on mahdollisuus, niin tuleppa Teamsiin klo 9.20, niin minä selitän siellä mitä nämä ovat. Jos Teamsiin liittyminen on hankalaa, tai huomaat tämän viestin myöhässä, niin lue tekstikirjasta s. 136-137 ja tee tehtävät 2,3 ja 4 kyseisiltä sivuilta.

Äidinkieli 6:
Tänään äidinkielen osalta teille tulee vähän "liukuva" tehtävä. Eli voitte ryhtyä kertailemaan äidinkielen kokeeseen. Jos olette jo saaneet monistepinon postista, voitte ryhtyä tekemään niitä. Monistepinostahan löytyy seuraavat tehtävät, jotka auttavat koetta varten:

LIITE 5 - Yhdyslauseharjoituksia
LIITE 6 - Lauseenjäsenharjoituksia
Jos, monareita ei vielä ole, niin lukaise ajatuksen kanssa läpi Lohdutus-kappaleen kielioppiasiat sivuilta 135 (virke), 139 (pää- ja sivulause), 140-141 (yhdyslauseet) ja 144-145 (lauseenjäsenet). Jos haluat osallistua lauseenjäsenten kertaustunnille, niin tule Teamsiin klo 9.20, jossa opetan vitosille ko. asian.

Environmental Studies
Let's continue with chapter 33 by doing the exercises that we have in our exercise book p. 109-111.

Translations for the exercises:
1. Check your rights, do you agree fully (1) or disagree (3)?
2. Read the stories from your book. Why did Amadi, Sena, Mohammed and Khadra had to escape?
3. Find out the meaning of the word and connect it to the corresponding explanation.
4. Think about the rights of Amadi, Sena, Mohammed and Khadra.
a) what would you get as a score from the first exercise? Mention three things that differ from the answers you gave.
b) Do you think the person should get an asylum from Finland? Why?
5. Think about what kind of problems does/do
a) every immigrant have.
b) those children, who came to country without their parents have.
c) grown-up immigrants, whose family has stayed in the country where they left, have.


History 5-6:
Today we will take a look at Rousseau and how he felt about education and teaching.

If you want to familiarize yourself more with the literature of the time of Enlightenment, I suggest you read Daniel Defoe's Robinson Crusoe or Jonathan Swift's Gulliver's Travels or even a more modern author, who depicts the time; Alexandre Dumas's Taking The Bastille.

Maths 5:
Let's wait for the handouts to come, and we will have the maths exam. Today's topic is the units of time, chapter 37. This is basically revisioning, you only need to remember to be careful which unit is asked. I can explain these to you as well on Teams when we have the Finnish lesson. :)

Maths 6:
Today we will start revising. There is a revision route on pages 160-161 and home corner 40.
As soon as you'll get the hand outs, we can start to prepare for the maths exam. I will give you a lesson or two on Teams before the maths exam.

English 6:
Today we will take a closer look at Ireland and Norhtern Ireland. First, read and listen to chapter 13: Eye on Culture. Then do the exercises on p. 152. I want you focus on exercise 16 and find out something interesting about Ireland or Norhtern Ireland. (google, Wikipedia, etc.) It can be something to do with culture, food, music, sports, places, language or whatever. You'll get to write a short paragraph about it and preferably attach, or draw a picture to it. There is a return box for it in the end of this page. :)
