How is the curriculum developed and how is the curriculum process implemented in Finland? The lecture walks through the curriculum process in Vantaa. We also learn about the structure and specific features of the Finnish basic education curriculum.

PLEASE NOTE that Lectures 3-5 in this session are optional. They move on to the curriculum development process and serve as a practical example on how the curriculum development process is may be lead in the Finnish context. Even though the context of the lectures is Finnish basic education and one municipality, many ideas are applicable to other cultures and contexts.
