History play-Foundation of EU

This history play was a great example of how we can use MADD in the classroom. Drama is an excellent way of teaching things. It is not boring, it is not complicated. It is perfect way of learning things and having fun at the same time.

The story of the play leads us back in the time right after ww2, when Europe was in dispute. So couple of wise man decided to set things right. After that we can see process of foundation, year by year, until the present time when we look to the future.

The duration of the play is about 5 minutes, so it is not boring for spectators. All of the pupils had a great time watching it. The actors in the play told that it was very fun to act in history play. They also told the play improved their self-confidence. Some of the spectators told that it was really easy to notice the process of foundation of EU. The story was easy to follow. They also added that they would like to have it more in the classroom.  So we hope it is just a beginning of MAD(drama)D in the classroom.
