Practical information and procedure

Application for express mobility

Information about the participating institutions and contacts is available on this site. We encourage you to contact both the program and student contact persons at the institution you are interested in for further information.

Learning/training agreement
When you have decided which institute you want to visit (when, length of stay, purpose/focus etc.) you need to send an e-mail requesting a specific visit to the program contact person at your home institution. Then you need to contact the hosting institution to organize your visit formally at least 3-4 weeks before your visit takes place. If your application is approved, the contact person at your home institution needs to confirm the approval with the following contacts:

1) The program contact person at the hosting institution (see list)
2) The VALA network co-ordinator - Sif Einarsdóttir, sif@hi.is

This constitutes the learning/training agreement required by Nordplus. We would also like you to record first your plans for mobility in the sheet here below so others interested in mobility can learn about your experiences and after the visit write few lines about your experiences.

Application for funding
After this has been clarified and the VALA network co-ordinator has sent a confirmation to all involed parties that funding is available, you can apply for funding from the coordinating insttute University of Iceland. The contact person is Sif Einarsdóttir sif@hi.is. A travel agreement form is available below needs to be filled out signed and sent to Sif.
