Update 14.08.20 for enrolled students

We are glad to inform you that the registration deadline by Inland for the course Social justice in career counselling course has been extended until August 31st by Norway Inland University of Applied Sciences. For registration please follow the link below. The automated message saying registration fee needs to be paid does NOT apply to students registering for Nordplus courses like this one, please disregard. 

We intend to create dynamic and flexible international learning community on-line this year and look forward to your contributionThe course is designed to meet the needs of busy students also engaged in other educational activities and work. During the main course period, from Oct 26th to Nov 20st, students are expected to meet in smaller groups only one fixed afternoon pr. week (1-2 hours). (which weekday is optional). The rest of the course material/lectures and so on can be accessed and engaged with whenever best suited for the students.    

 Social justice in career counseling is always important but even more so with unforeseen consequences in labor markets due to the current pandemic. In the course you get a chance to meet with students from the Nordic and Baltic countries, share thoughts and experience in small group meetings with teachers who are in the forefront of the field.  

A new practice focused book Career Guidance for Emancipation Reclaiming Justice for the Multitude edited by Tristram Hooley, Ronald Sultana, Rie Thomsen will be provided to student´s in the course, free of charge.

Update 07.08.20 For enrolled students
When you register at INN, you will get an automatic reply from the University concerning payment of an semester fee and other steps concerning registration. In Nordplus mobility, student do not need to pay registration fee at the hosting institution (Lillehammer), and the automatic reply can be deleted. You will recieve an information email from our international office on how to get access to the learning program etc.   

Update 25.7.2020

Due to the ongoing Covid-19 situation concomitant travel restrictions and institutional recommendations we have decided to replace the intended summer school in August with an on-line course.

The course starts with a short orientation after mid-August, followed by an online meeting with teachers on September 15th. Between 26th October and the 20th November student will be expected to engage with the online course materials, as well as developing an online presentation. About weekly one hour will be scheduled as synchronous tutorial time. Students will be able to pick from a range of times as to when they would like to schedule this weekly tutorial (small group discussions). Update 5.4.2020 -
Summer school mobility grant - decision postponed

Due to the Covid-19 we do not yet know if we can offer the Career guidance and social justice summer school in Lillehammer August 17 -21st as was planned. These are uncertain times It is unclear how the pandemic will develop and when restrictions on travel across the Nordic countries will be alleviated.  We have therefore decided to postpone decisions about ​mobility grant.

We will keep you informed on whether we need to postpone the course in August as soon as possible. This is a likely scenario currently. If the course will be posponed, we will aim to announce new dates at the same time.
