The themes of this course are health, crime, politics, community service and different societies. What problems are we facing in everyday life and what solutions are there? You will learn how to express your opinions and defend your own view and tell about your beliefs as well.

We are learning new vocabulary by doing exercises and with the help of reading comprehension, oral exercises, listening and group work. We are also going to write a letter. (A letter to the editor, instructions Learning to learn 5).

Evaluation: Everything you do on the course will affect the grade. All areas of language competence are included in the evaluation. This course emphasises writing and reading comprehension skills. It is very important that you attend all the Teams-sessions and hand in homework and other tasks in time.
