The themes on course five have to do with traffic, psychology, physics and science. You are also going to practice writing a summary and a scientific report in English. In addition, you will also brush up your skills in discussing, reasoning, and collaborative problem solving.

Grammar:
- The infinitive
- that-clause and the -ing form
- Words of quantity
- Numbers and expressions of time
- Word formation (Test Thu 21.2)

Writing: - A summary in Finnish (instructions Learning to learn 3. Tiivistelmä). Deadline: - A scientific survey and reporting the results. Deadline: - A traditional composition on the final day.

Listening comprehension: old matriculations tests + video listening(s)

Oral exercise: at every lesson, the aim at presenting and defending your view

Evaluation: Evaluation is based on everything you do on this course: the final test, vocabulary tests, listening comprehension tests, writing tasks. Make sure you give your best! Everything has to be handed in in time! . The final test is done by computer and it includes vocabulary and grammar exercises, composition and reading and listening comprehension.
