Location, size, nature, climate, population, ethnicities, languages, main cities, interesting sights and attractions, cultural characteristics?
Tarjoa yleiskatsaus tähän maahan: perustietoja, mielenkiintoisia pointteja: Mitä jokaisen tulisi tietää/ymmärtää tästä maasta? Missä sijaitsee, koko, luonto, ilmasto, asukasluku/etninen jakauma, kielet, keskeisiä nähtävyyksiä, suurimmat kaupungit, kulttuuriin liittyviä erityispiirteitä.
Kerro myös, miksi näissä maissa puhutaan englantia? Lyhyesti: Mikä on niiden historiallinen tausta/suhde "emämaahan" Iso-Britanniaan? (+ puhutaanko näissä maissa muitakin kieliä englannin lisäksi/mikä on on englannin kielen asema nykyään näissä maissa?)
- Avoid going into too much detail (= boring facts) = What would you yourself be interested in hearing/learning?
- Don't copy directly from the net - edit, simplify and summarize! Use multiple sources! = ÄLÄ KOPIOI SUORAAN NETISTÄ, MUOKKAA KIELTÄ "OMAAN SUUHUN SOPIVAKSI": tiivistä, yksinkertaista, käytä useampiä lähdesivustoja
- äänitysvaiheessa: varmista, että puhut kuuluvalla äänellä; puhu selkeästi ja rauhallisesti; pyri pitämään yllä kuulijan huomio!
