Two students from Orivesi - presenting the Finnish UNESCO ASPnet network - participated as panelists at the UNESCO Young People on Transforming Education Regional Youth Dialogue. This engaging dialogue took place online on the 8th of December 2023. 

The UNESCO Young People on Transforming Education Project (YPTEP) was born in response to the Transforming Education Summit held during the 77th United Nations General Assembly.

UNESCO IESALC and ICUA joined forces to launch this initiative with the goal of examining how different generations of learners engage with their own learning through the use of digital tools and broader innovations. In alignment with our mission, a series of intergenerational dialogues focused on innovative learning and its potential to drive transformative education will be organized. These dialogues also aim to create a safe and inclusive platform where young people can voice their thoughts, sharing their needs, desires, and current challenges in the realm of education. Our intention is to empower them to play an active role in the ongoing transformation of education.
