The Finnish courses are meant for those who don’t speak Finnish as their mother tongue. There are two courses where the teacher uses English as an auxiliary language:

Suomen alkeet/Finnish for beginners is meant for the beginners who have no or very little knowledge of Finnish. The classes are on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 18.45 to 20.15. The study book is Suomen mestari 1, new edition 2020 or later.

Suomen jatkokurssi/Continuing course: Basic Finnish continues from the spring 2024, but new students and also more advanced students are wlecome. The classes are on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 17.00 to 18.30. The study book is Suomen mestari 2, new edition 2022 or later.

There are also three groups that use Russian as an auxiliary language:

Suomen alkeiskurssi B for beginners on Tuesdays and Thursday from 17.00 to 18.30. The study book is Suomen mestari 1, new edition 2020 or later.

Suomen alkeet 3 on Mondays and Wednesdays from 17.00 - 18.30, and Suomen alkeet 3 B on Mondays and Thursdays from 10.00 to 11.30. These groups continue from the spring, but new students are welcome. The study book is Suomen mestari 2, new edition 2022 or later.
