Erasmus + Arts, Skills and Networks - Lapua Art School
Our Erasmus + project for partner educational institutions, with whom we can collaborate to widen the perspective of organizations,
teachers and students concerning studying visual and performing arts, making art, experiencing art. The teacher training
courses will update the teachers’ substance knowledge and offer viewpoints of sustainable development and of developing
equity and equality in teaching and learning. At the same time our organization and work community will learn for example
curriculum goal setting and pedagogic and content planning of courses. More concretely, we will learn new techniques and
policies for building exhibitions, for techniques in practical and artistic subjects, and for putting together visual and
performing art performances. Art is a common language across borders. We want to encourage teachers and students to
use this common language in different situations and to understand cultural differences, art being the integrative factor.
The project is small-scale. The mobilities consist of one jov shadowing period, two educational mobilities and one student group mobility.
The first mobility took place in October 2023, heading to Tarto Lastekunstikakool.
