The City of Kuopio has active co-operation with the City of Shanghai, China. Pyörö School is taking part in this cooperation with Jianping West Middle School which is situated in Pudong area in Shanghai.

Staff members from both of our schools have alrady visited each other and the next step will be to have some of our students take part in visits also.

The educational aim of our cooperation for us in Pyörö is to study maths/science teaching and learning in China. For Jianping West the aim is to have interaction and mutual projects in English.

We have already completed three projects with students together and the cooperation is set to continue in the future also.
