BLOGSITE for Amy and Julia

Amy is in Finland from 20th of April to 31st of May in 2015.
Julia is going to be in France from 31st of May until to the end of June in 2015.

Experiences from Finland!

This trip has been amazing, surprising, and an unforgettable experience thanks to Julia and her family, the new friends I have made… Finland has made me fall in love with the Sauna experience. Last week I had a fantastic opportunity of visiting a typical Finnish holiday cottage, where I enjoyed an hour and a half of brilliant relaxing sauna; I then jumped into a lake (that was incredibly cold) and had a five-minute swim. I’ve started studying German and Swedish at school and they are my favourite subjects I’ve discovered so far. I will continue studying Finnish with Julia in France.

Tips for travelling to France..

Amy gave good tips for our students for their travelling to France:
- You have to be polite:
Bonjour = Huomenta = Good morning
Bonne nuit = Hyvää yötä = Good night
Salut = Hei hei = Bye bye
Sa va? = Miten voit? = How are you?
- Say every morning Bonjour, and every evening Bonne nuit. If you are silent the french people think you are unpolite.
- People were shoes at home
- School has strict rules! No handies, no laptops, no talking in lessons.
