Outdoor Classroom
Today we took our classroom outdoors. Research has highlighted the many benefits of nature - not only to our mind and body but also to academics. After a short run around the school to warm up, students were asked to get active and put a set of cards in alphabetical order. Keeping their bodies warm and brains engaged, they did jumping jacks, squats and passed the basketball to share answers and complete their task. After our mini lesson outdoors, we came back inside for warm drinks and more collaborative learning! ![20180206_143942[1].png](https://peda.net/joensuu/alakoulut/mutalan-koulu/erasmus/previous-projects/cfp/hsac/winter-in-canada/outdoor-classroom/21p:file/photo/56df6e1bbab9bb165ebc8eab594a3852e34cb120/20180206_143942%5B1%5D.png)
